Jack Hanby says that his brewery, housed where it is in an enormous concrete barn on Wem's industrial estate, is probably the biggest small brewery in the land. A few of your own hops always come in handy and Hanby doesn't need to grow a dwarf variety. Even so almost all the hops they use, apart from Cascade, are English.
